JANUARY 2010 The deals keep rolling in for North West Property company Hollins Murray Group Ltd (HMG) as it confirms more long term tenancies at two of its key sites; Westheath Retail Park in Congleton and Interlinq Trade Park in Queensferry. At Westheath, children’s charity Barnardos has just signed up to a 10 year lease at £27,000 per annum. The deal also involves the surrender of Softwalker Shoes’ lease who were paying £22,500 per annum. Naturally HMG is delighted that the rents have moved on and it reaffirms their long held view that there’s much hidden value in localized retail centres. Unit 2C at HMG’s Interlinq site in Queensferry has been let to Lullaboo Baby for the five years, initially at a rent of £10,000 pa rising to £12,000 pa. The kid’s retailer with a strong on line presence continues to go from strength to strength from their North Wales HQ. HMG’s Chief Executive Nick Casson said, “We’re delighted to have secured these important lettings to Barnardos in Congleton and Lullaboo Baby in Queensferry - diversity across retail and trade centres has been core to our strategy over the past few years and it’s rewarding to see that our portfolio has such strong appeal.” |
